Whether it’s for a buffet or a kitchen, warming hire is essential for keeping food warm. We have various options available to help you with what you need.
What do I need to know about warming hire?
There are a few solutions available for warming hire, depending on what you need to keep warm and for how long.
If you’ve got a buffet, then our bain maries and chafing dishes are just what you need. Both work on the same principle; using a container with heated water to keep your container of food warm. The only difference is the fuel used to keep the water warm; the bain maries use electricity while chafing dishes use tins of chafing fuel.
For kitchens then a hot cupboard or hot holding cupboard is probably going to be more useful. Our mobile hot cupboards can come with or without bain marie tops, and can be combined with our heated gantry for a complete solution. The hot holding cupboard is better for holding large numbers of plates warm ready for service.
How does delivery of warming hire work?
All of our equipment is cleaned, checked and PAT tested where appropriate prior to dispatch. We can provide evidence of testing of electric equipment if required. All of our electrical equipment runs off a standard UK three pin plug; please check wattage requirements prior to hire to make sure you have the correct power available. Some of this equipment is heavy and as such may attract a delivery surcharge; access is also important as our drivers are not allowed to go up or down stairs.
We deliver from Expo Hire Thames Valley to the whole of the Thames Valley including to Reading, Slough, High Wycombe, Newbury, Bracknell, Woking, Surrey and Berkshire. Check the carriage calculator on the home page to find out how much a standard delivery costs.
