Notley Abbey is a wedding venue located in Buckinghamshire which is owned by Bijou Wedding Venues. Originally, it was an Augustinian Abbey founded in the 12th century, which was visited by notable figures such as Henry V. The abbey was dissolved by Henry VIII in 1538, and by 1730 the abbey had reached farmhouse status. It has been regenerated in 1890 and was once owned by Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, who threw many parties at the house. It is now an exclusive use wedding venue, with capacity for 164 guests for an indoor ceremoney and 250 for the evening reception. There are dedicated staff on hand to help plan and arrange the big day.
